Chloe's leaf structure. The main shape is a timber L shape frame with added willow to gain height and width. Over this is a combination of artificial and hand painted leaves. To the right are the oak leaves that will be scattered on the leaves.

Jayne's wallpapers. Recreating the wallpapers by hand. Left to right: gold Drawing room wallpaper, half pattern of Gardener Wilkinson's Library wallpaper, the 18th Century red day nursery remnant and the blue Oak bedroom wallpaper. The Oak bedroom had been digitally printed onto cotton to save time. This is the only wallpaper that has not been recreated by hand.

A practice "scene" for Ruth's dolls house slides.

The house was given a layer of paper mache. The exterior of the house has then been covered with brown paper. The interior has been covered with text taken from an old copy of "Grim Tales"; the text is to represent the newspaper behind the wallpaper that was found in the school room.

The added architectural details to Ruth's dolls house ready to be paper mached. This has been achieved through a mixture of thick card, balsa wood and plastic tubing.

Close up of the hand written notes. To save time Emily has hand written a selection which she has then scanned and printed onto cartridge paper, which she has tea stained. She has researched into the writing of the period including the style of writing, the spelling and grammar that may have been used by Sir Henry Harpur Crewe.
